Unerkannt und unbehandelt k\u00f6nnen sie zu Organsch\u00e4den, k\u00f6rperlicher oder geistiger Behinderung f\u00fchren. Bei einem von 1200 Neugeborenen findet man eine solche seltene Erkrankung.<\/p><p>In speziellen Screeninglabors wird das bereits in den ersten 36 -72 Stunden nach der Geburt aus der Ferse gewonnene Blut getestet. Der Screeningtest ist noch keine \u00e4rztliche Diagnose. Bei einem Verdacht werden weitere Untersuchungen bzw.
