The determination of catecholamines and catecholamine metabolites is of importance for the management and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures for a number of clinical conditions. In particular, catecholamines play a significant role in the pathophysiology of hypertension. Elevated levels of catecholamines can contribute to treatment-resistant or paroxysmal hypertension, often accompanied by symptoms such as headaches, sweating, and palpitations. For these purposes the ClinRep® Complete Kit allows a quick and safe quantification of the catecholamines.
