The vitamers that are analysed are thiamine pyrophosphate TPP (vitamin B1; synonym: thiaminediphosphate TDP), flavin adenine dinucleotide FAD (vitamin B2), pyridoxal PL and pyridoxal- 5´-phosphate PLP and (both vitamin B6). The determination of B-vitamins (B1, B2 and B6) is performed in case of suspected neuropathy. Deficiencies can also occur in case of diabetes type 1 and 2. It is also reasonable to determine B-vitamins when searching for the cause of lack of concentration with suspected nutritional deficiency.
